✦ Synopsis

In the paper, boundary element method with sub-region method is used to simulate the singularity of a slant elliptic crack in a column under compression. Since friction between crack surfaces is taken into account in computation, the basic model for those full-mixed mode crack problems often met in engineering and the method to find out the failure essence of those problems are created.
