We find the conditions for the existence of a leading branch of the spectrum of a cluster, in particular, the transfer matrix of a lattice Gibbsian field with a compact space of spins at high temperature, and construct the corresponding space of states. These results extend those previously obtained by the author for the case of the Ising model.
