Systematic quality assurance in Spanish universities is a recent development, but it is rich in dynamic, fruitful experiences and promise. This chapter describes how Spanish universities are now incorporating and carrying out these new programs, and how these programs are becoming an integral part of the daily functioning of these institutions.
