โฆ Synopsis
Introducing In Perspective
In 1998 Molecular Carcinogenesis will include a new section, In Perspective, dedicated to reviews in the field of molecular carcinogenesis. The purpose of these reviews will be to present the field in a clear and concise form, with special emphasis on the new findings and ideas. Our expectation is that In Perspective will have two important objectives: it will help our readership maintain their scientific knowledge in the broad areas of the molecular biology of cancer and mutagenesis and will also provide a forum for investigators to present their ideas in the context of the overall advances of the field. In this sense, we expect that these reviews will be invaluable tools for formal teaching of cancer-related disciplines and will affect the training of young scientists.
To maintain high ethical standards and scientific accuracy, In Perspective will be peer reviewed. We will encourage dissident opinions and iconoclastic points of view if they are based on solid scientific information and maintain proper forms of academic communication.
Most of the In Perspective reviews will be invited. However, scientists interested in contributing to In Perspective are encouraged to submit a proposal letter to the Molecular Carcinogenesis editorial office.
