## Abstract In this paper, we investigate the theoretical behavior of microstrip antennas on tapered ferrite substrates. A fullβwave analysis in the spectral domain is developed to provide antenna bandwidth enhancement as a function of linear variations in the substrateβheight profile that supports
## Abstract The finiteβdifference timeβdomain (FDTD) method is used to model the response of microstrip patch antennas on magnetized ferrite substrates. The proposed FDTD model utilizes the auxiliary differential equation approach to represent the frequency dependent permeability tensor in the time
A new TLM modelling method has been developed for patch antennas on magnetized ferrite substrate. The antenna has magnetically controllable resonance frequency and beam direction. The anisotropic permeability tensor of ferrite is modelled by state equations derived from the Polder tensor. Simulation
