## Abstract In our continuing search on halogenated metabolites from species of the red algal genus __Laurencia__, a novel squaleneβderived triterpene polyether, named omaezakianol (**2**), was isolated from __Laurencia omaezakiana__ Masuda along with 15,16βanhydrothyrsiferol (**3**). Their structu
