## Abstract Sanfilippo syndrome type B (MPS III B) is caused by a deficiency of Ξ±βNβacetylglucosaminidase enzyme (__Naglu__), leading to accumulation of heparan sulfate (HS), a glycosaminoglycan (GAG), within lysosomes and to eventual progressive cerebral and systemic multiple organ abnormalities.
