✦ Synopsis
Intramolecular eu5mer formation of 1.3-1(1-pyrenyl)propane
has been used to mvestigate, as a fun&on of temperature, the Iludlty m multibdayer dlsperslons and somcxted vesicles of dlmynstoyl and dlpalrmtoyl phosphatidylchollne
The main phase transItions are detected at temperatures correspondmg to those reported m the htenture.
The results show that the bpld structure in the ordered phase IS strongly perturbed (and hence relatively fluid) in the Immediate vlaruty of the probe.
