## Abstract Curcumin, the active ingredient from the spice turmeric (__Curcuma longa__ Linn), is known to be an antiโ€oxidant and an antiโ€inflammatory agent. It has been demonstrated recently to possess antiโ€angiogenic effects and proโ€apoptotic activities against Ehrlich ascites tumor cells. In the
