✦ Synopsis

Earth is dying. A select few are chosen from young, strong people who are willing to spend years in suspended animation at a chance for a new life. Dropped into a game where their avatars are anthropomorphic warriors, they settle in to enjoy the ride to the stars.

Avalon, a Wolf archer understands how games are played and he’s good at them. After getting through the first few levels of the game that’s going to be his home for years, he starts helping other players work out how to stay alive, or at least not have to endure the disorientation of getting resurrected when they screw up and die. Like he did back on Earth, he really enjoys assisting others, and he quickly figures out having people around makes the game easier.

Gruso, a Bear warrior struggles to figure out the world he’s thrown into. He understood life on earth, but finding himself stuck in the body of a Bear, swinging a big axe was more than he’d bargained for. On Earth, he spent most of his time working to advance himself, so he didn’t have a lot of time for games. The learning curve leaves him struggling to stay alive.
Together these two come together to help those less fortunate. Protecting the weaker comes naturally to them, even as they enter an unknown forest and the horrors that await them within.
