β¦ Synopsis
Experimental results on concerning magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of spin chain compounds can be interpreted in terms of small ring statistics. The agreement between theory and experiments is remarkable and improves with the number of spins. By combining theoretical and experimental results one can determine the coupling constants of the Heisenberg Hamiltonian.
