No. 2 OF COMMISSION IV Further to our Communique No. 1 as published in P, hotogrammetria No. 4, 1942--53, we would like to advise that the planned meeting of Commission IV will take place in Rome most probably during the congress of The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics which will be held from the 15th to the 29th of September, 1954. The conference will be devoted to the current business of the Commission as well as to discussions on the present state of the application of photogrammetry to cadastral surveying, to mapping of urban areas, and to extensive small scale mapping. We hope to have a very interesting and fruitful discussion, and its outcome will enable us to formulate the future activities of the Commission.
Below you will find the tentative program for the c6nference. The final program, including the exact date and place of the meeting, will be announced later.
In order that proper arrangements can be made for the meeting, it is vital that the secretary of this Commission receives at the ea~'liest possible v~oment, the names of the members of our society who will be able to attend the conference.
