The International Society for Developmental Biologists' Tenth Congress will be held in Los Angeles. The Organizing Committee has planned a major scientific program of interest to all individuals curious about problems in developmental biology-plants and animals, invertebrates and vertebrates, and embryogenesis through senescence. Problems in advances in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology are featured with particular emphasis upon "state-of-theart" assessments in disciplines including immunogenetics, biochemistry, embryology, genetics, DNA recombinant technology, molecular biology, clinical biomedical sciences, oncology, and botany. Six symposia, parallel scientific sessions, films, a trade exhibition, and special social events comprise this week of international scientific communication. We hope to meet you in Los Angeles in 1985!
