This paper gives brief accounts of the nine international seminars, workshops and conferences organized by ICRAF during the period from 1979 to early 1987.

In its continuing efforts to liaise and interact with leading professionals interested in agroforestry around the world, ICRAF has organized several international meetings on specified aspects of agroforestry and ICRAF staff have continuously participated in various such professional meetings outside ICRAF. The salient aspects of the professional meetings and conferences so organized by ICRAF since its inception are given below.
