The Organizers cordially invite all interested academic and industrial organosilicon scientists to attend the X ISOC. The major topics of the Symposium will be: Organic chemistry of silicon: new reactions, new compounds; inorganic chemistry of silicon (Si-Si, Si-0, Si-N, Si-S, Si-P, Si-transition metal); silicon polymers and oligomers; theoretical and structural chemistry of silicon; mechanistic organosilicon chemistry, reactive intermediates (a) gas-phase and photochemical reactions and (b) liquid phase transformations; bio-and environmental organosilicon chemistry; silicon in organic synthesis; silicon-based materials (polymers, ceramics) and their application; analysis of organosilicon compounds.
In addition to plenary and invited lectures given by leading scientists a limited number of contributions will be presented orally. Poster communications will be displayed. Special sessions devoted to history and perspectives of the organisilicon chemistry will be organized.
Further information about the scientific programme, registration fees, social programme, travel facilities (2nd circular) will be mailed to those who will contact the organizing committee before the end of January 1993.
