โœฆ Synopsis

Venous hypertension can produce cramping pain and weakness during exercise [I-3, 5 , 61. Since Cockett et a1 [3] first described it, the condition has been referred to as venous claudication. Venous thrombosis and arteriovenous fistula are major causes [2, 51. Intermittent venous claudication in an otherwise healthy patient without additional signs of venous stasis presents diagnostic difficulties. Physical examination may be normal, and exercise does not always produce symptoms or signs. The following describes such a case.
