## BACKGROUND. Acute renal failure, with or without massive proteinuria, is a rare idiosyncratic toxicity of interferon (IFN)-␣ therapy. The authors sought to review their experience with this toxicity as well as the world literature on the subject. ## METHODS. The authors describe two patients
