โฆ Synopsis
A photographic Fabry-Perot interferometer was used to measure the breadth and wavelength of the Fexlv spectral line at 5303 โข in the solar corona, during the eclipse of 7 March, 1970, in Mexico. The observations were consistent with a possible large-scale vortex structure in a bright streamer, in which cooler gases revolved about a hotter core.

The purpose of this paper is to report on some intensity measurements of the Fexm lines at 10 747 ~ and 10 798 ~ made during the total eclipse of 12 November, 1966. Infrared spectra were taken of the solar corona at a dispersion of 90 A~ per mm, using an RCA image converter and spectrograph aboard t
An improved formula for the green-to-red line intensity ratio in the solar corona is proposed. The results are compared with those given by the previous expression.
