The absorption behavior of uracil at the mercury/electrolyte interface was studied by ekctrocapillary and capacitance measurements. Three different adsorption states (SI, SII, SIII) can be distinguished, depending on adsorbate concentration, temperature and potential. State I corresponds to a layer
