An interactive graphic procedure to rank annihilation (RA) is proposed. The method, interactive rank annihilation (IRA) is tested on several simulated data sets to assess its performance. Comparison between the IRA procedure and Lorber's direct RA method shows that the new method is significantly better for quantification of analytes with low relative concentration, especially in the presence of heteroscedastic noise.
