✦ Synopsis

The kinetics of the grafting reaction of a telechelic polybutadiene, carrying isocyanate endgroups, onto silicas were studied. The influence of silica concentration as welt as the significance of the reaction temperature and the extent of the specific surface area of the solids were examined. The coverage of the silica with the polymer was examined by electron microscopy.
