✦ Synopsis
Removal of o-aminophenol and o-nitrophenol from aqueous solution through adsorption on copper zinc, molybdenum, and chro-Chemicals mium ferrocyanides were studied in pH range 2-10 at 27ЊC. At pH 7.0 o-nitrophenol adsorbed more than o-aminophenol on all Potassium ferrocyanide, copper (II) chloride, chromic the metal ferrocyanides studied. The Langmuir type of adsorption chloride, sodium molybdate, o-aminophenol, and o-nitropheis followed in the concentration range of 10 03 to 10 04 M of onol were obtained from BDH (India). All chemicals used aminophenol and o-nitrophenol solutions. ᭧ 1997 Academic Press were of AnalaR grade.
