## Abstract Poly(__N__‐isopropylacrylamide‐__co__‐sodium acrylate) [poly(NIPAM‐__co__‐SA)] hydrogels were modified with three different kind of surfactants (cationic, anionic, and nonionic) to study the effect on the swelling properties. The structural variation of the surfactant‐modified hydrogels
