✦ Synopsis


In a previous paper, we have presented experimental and theoretical results on the intensity of forbidden IR and Raman bands of CSz in liquid solutions. To reduce the disagreement observed on some Raman results, we consider changing the value of the derivative of the hyperpolarizability p with respect to the bending coordinate. We evaluate the different electrical contributions to the intensities and deduce that 8' for CSa is about ten times larger than in CO,.
