✦ Synopsis


The short period oscillations of the earth's atmosphere transparency for the spectral line A=SlO. 8 nm are studied using lidar data. The results obtained are discussed in connection with the problem of the reliability of short period intensity oscill~tiens of the Fe XIY (A=S30.3 nm) solar coronal emission line. The main conclusion is that the green coronal oscillations with periods shorter than 60 s are realistic.
