## Abstract Mass transfer coefficients from 1/2‐in. spheres of benzoic and cinnamic acids and 2‐napthol to water were measured in the high Reynolds number region of 600 to 140,000. Previous data for liquids extended only to a Reynolds number of 11,000. Three separate and approximately parallel line
