β¦ Synopsis
The management of financial portfolios or funds constitutes a widely known problematic in financial markets which normally requires a rigorous analysis in order to select the most profitable assets. This subject is becoming popular among computer scientists which try to adapt known Intelligent Computation techniques to the marketβs domain. This book proposes a potential system based on Genetic Algorithms, which aims to manage a financial portfolio by using technical analysis indicators. The results are promising since the approach clearly outperforms the remaining approaches during the recent market crash.

Chaos is a fascinating phenomenon that has been observed in nature, laboratory, and has been applied in various real-world applications. Chaotic systems are deterministic with no random elements involved yet their behavior appears to be random. Observations of chaotic behavior in nature includ
This brief text presents a general guideline for writing advanced algorithms for solving engineering and data visualization problems. The book starts with an introduction to the concept of evolutionary algorithms followed by details on clustering and evolutionary programming. Subsequent chapters pre
This eighteen-chapter book presents the latest applications of lattice theory in Computational Intelligence (CI). The book focuses on neural computation, mathematical morphology, machine learning, and (fuzzy) inference/logic. The book comes out of a special session held during the World Council for

The emergence of lattice theory within the field of computational intelligence (CI) is partially due to its proven effectiveness in neural computation. Moreover, lattice theory has the potential to unify a number of diverse concepts and aid in the cross-fertilization of both tools and ideas wi
