β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
The NOAO VOEvent software components will provide a mechanism for publishing and general distribution of compliant VOEvents produced initially from Type Ia supernova event notifications from the NOAO ESSENCE survey, and eventually from any source of event notifications, to the astronomical community. We present a description of the NOAO VOEvent software architecture and components. We discuss technologies used, and provide a brief description of configuration and installation of the services and dependencies. (Β© 2008 WILEYβVCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
