✦ Synopsis

The integral formalism worked out earlier by Barnett and Lothe for uniformly mo¨ing straight dislocations and surface elastic wa¨es is extended to surface polaritons propagating along the boundary between two anisotropic dielectrics. By proceeding on this formalism, we find the expressions for surface impedances and dispersion equations for polaritons.
