## Abstract Tendinitis remains a catastrophic injury among athletes. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have recently been investigated for use in the treatment of tendinitis. Previous work has demonstrated the value of insulin‐like growth factor‐I (IGF‐I) to stimulate cellular proliferation and tendon
