## Abstract Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is an aggressive malignancy with a poor prognosis. Previously, it has been shown that Indian hedgehog (Ihh) and its two signaling receptors patched (Ptc) and smoothened (Smo) are involved in the pathogenesis of chronic pancreatitis (CP) and PDAC.
