โฆ Synopsis
A supramolecular conglomerate โฆ โฆ composed of a saddle-distorted, diprotonated porphyrin dication and two saddledistorted zinc(II)-phthalocyanine complexes (see picture) is described by T. Kojima et al. in their Communication on page 6712 ff. The conglomerate undergoes photoinduced electron transfer from the zinc(II)-phthalocyanine to the porphyrin dication to generate an electron-transfer state with a lifetime of 667 ps.
