Glasses with compositions xPbO-RNa 2 B 4 O 7 -(100 ร€ R ร€ x)CAS (0.49CaO, 0.21Al 2 O 3 , 0.3SiO 2 ) with 0 r xr 50 and 50 r R r 75 mol% have been prepared using the normal melt quenching technique. The optical transmittance and reflectance spectrum of the glasses have been recorded in the wavelength
