A stable cell line derived from a human oligodendroglioma (HOG) was used to study the regulation of muscarinic-and histamine receptor-mediated phosphoinositide hydrolysis. Both carbachol and histamine increased inositol monophosphate (InsP) accumulation in a dose-and time-dependent manner in the pre
