## Abstract Indian muntjac diploid cells that have only three pairs of easily discernible large chromosomes were fused with hamster cells deficient in hypoxanthine guanine phosphoribosyltransferase (HGPRT) using polyethylene glycol. Cells that survived in hypoxanthine‐aminopterine‐thymidine (HAT)‐o
