## Abstract High‐magnetic field magnetization data are reported on Cd~1−__x__~Mn~__x__~S alloys, with __x__ = 3% and 15%. Effective parameters describing the Mn—Mn interaction are deduced. Spin‐flip Raman scattering from donors provides a measure of the s—d exchange interaction.
