## Abstract Ascochlorin, a nonโ€toxic prenylphenol compound derived from the fungus __Ascochyta viciae__, has been shown recently to have antiโ€cancer effects on various human cancer cells. However, the precise molecular mechanism of this antiโ€cancer activity remains to be elucidated. Here, we invest
