Three natural plant cytokinins inhibited lipid peroxidation in a dose-dependent manner in rat kidney homogenates. Zeatin riboside possessed higher antioxidant activity with an ICso of 0.18 mM. These results suggest that cytokinins may play a role in preventing lipid peroxidation in living animal cel
