AxFlow starts operations in Prague on August 1, 1997, with the newly formed company Promax s.r.o. The company will market and distribute positive displacement pumps and the product portfolio comprises Mono progressive cavity pumps, Watson Marlow and Bredel peristaltic pumps, Johnson Pump UK lobe rotary pumps, Pulsafeeder hydraulic metering and gear pumps, Warren Rupp/SandPiper air-operated diaphragm pumps and Trebor air-operated diaphragm pumps for the semiconductor industry. These manufacturers are already represented by AxFlow companies in several other European countries.
