β¦ Synopsis
The (\nu_{1}\left(\mathrm{HCl}\right.) stretch ) bands of the weakly bound complexes (\mathrm{N}{2}-\mathrm{HCl}) and (\mathrm{OC}-\mathrm{HCl}) have been observed in the (3.5-\mu \mathrm{m}) region using a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and a cooled longpath absorption cell. This is the first infrared observation of (\mathrm{N}{2}-\mathrm{HCl}). Identification of the bands was only possible after careful subtraction of the absorption due to the (\mathrm{HCl}) dimer. An earlier measurement of the (\nu_{2}) (CO stretch) band of (\mathrm{OC}-\mathrm{HCl}) has been extended to higher (J) values. but a search for the (\nu_{2}) band of (\mathrm{N}{2}-\mathrm{HCl}) was not successful. The analysis of these bands yields band origins, rotational parameters, and centrifugal distortion parameters (including (H) ) which give information on intermolecular forces. The (B) value of (\mathrm{OC}-\mathrm{HCl}) was found to increase with (\nu{1}), as in the case of OC-HF, indicating a shortened intermolecular bond. However. (B) for (\mathrm{N}{2}-\mathrm{HCl}) decreased with (\nu{1}), unlike (\mathrm{N}_{2}-\mathrm{HF}).

This work represents a complete study of GaN annealed in H 2 , HCl, NH 3 and N 2 . The GaN thermal behavior was evaluated by comparison of MOCVD and HVPE samples. The MOCVD films were found to obey a dissociative sublimation mechanism with only gaseous species forming, while the HVPE films reacted w
The hydrogen-bonded complex between 6-oxabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane and hydrogen chloride was investigated by microwave spectroscopy in a supersonic jet. A dual flow pulsed valve was used to preclude chemical reaction between the monomers. Only the equatorial conformer was observed and the spectra of thre
