✦ Synopsis

Polarised reflectance and/or transmission spectra of [Ni(dddt),],(AuBr,), and [Pd(dddt),],X (X=TeCI,, SbF,, AuBr,; dddt=5,6-dihydro-l,3-dithiin-2,3-dithiolate) single crystals are measured in the IR region (650-6 500 cm-'). A metal-insulator phase transition in [Pd(dddt),l2SbF, at T = 200 K has an influence on the IR spectra. A plasma-edge-like dispersion is analysed in terms of the Drude-Lorentz model. Vibrational and electronic bands are discussed.
