β¦ Synopsis
The high-resolution vibration-rotation spectrum of (\operatorname{InF}) was observed by a diode laser spectrometer. The (\Delta v=1) transitions of ({ }^{115} \mathrm{InF}) and ({ }^{113} \mathrm{InF}) were observed for (v^{\prime}=1) to 9 and for (v^{\prime}=) 1 to 4, respectively, in the wavenumber range (456-564 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}). They were analyzed in a least squares fit to a set of twelve Dunham (Y_{i j}) coefficients for ({ }^{115} \mathrm{InF}), where usual isotopic mass relation was used for the fit of the transitions of ({ }^{113} \mathrm{inF}). It was found that the usual isotopic mass relation did hold within the present experimental errors. The (Y_{10}, Y_{20}, Y_{30}), and (Y_{40}) were determined to be (535.36304(24),-2.67244(11), 8.446(19) \times 10^{-3}), and (-1.52(11) \times 10^{-5} \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}), respectively, with the standard errors in parentheses. The Dunham potential constants for (\operatorname{InF}) were also determined. & 1993 Academic Press. Inc.

The infrared spectrum of the X 2 P state of CBr from 680 to 760 cm 01 has been measured using diode laser absorption spectroscopy. This is the first observation of a vibrational spectrum of the radical in the gas phase. The radicals were produced by 193 nm excimer laser photolysis of bromoform. Tran
