β¦ Synopsis
The Fourier transform-infrared and Raman spectra of the two mercury orthorasenates were recorded and assigned on the basis of their structural characteristics and are discussed in comparison with related compounds.

The infrared and Raman spectra of polycrystalline were recorded at 77 and 10 K, respectively. (CH 3 ) 3 CCCH Crystal splittings were observed for some of the fundamentals and possible crystal structures are discussed. Anomalous band shifts between the liquid and solid state spectra were noted for bu
The low-temperature form of K 3 Sm(PO 4 ) 2 crystallizes in the glaserite type. The Raman and infrared spectra have been investigated: they are consistent with the proposed space monoclinic system [a = 7.4347(5) A Λ, b = 5.6270(5) A Λ, c = 9.4919(5) A Λ, Ξ² = 90.870(6)Β°, Z = 2, space group P2 1 /m].
