โฆ Synopsis
hfr, lrcd and Raman spectra of polycrystallinc ample5 of nitric oxide Nz02, at temperature\ between 18 and 80 K have been recorded, and scver:~l new tow frequency peaks ob~rved. Tl7e Kaman spectrum of the liquid at 115 K has also been obtained, in an attempt to dhtingui~h bctwcen vibrations charactcrl\tic of the dimerixd 117olcc11lc and of the lattkc. The chcrvcd fcaturer arc discusscd in terms of the know17 rnolcculnr and crystal structures.

Raman and far-infrared spectra of crysmlline fluoroform at temperatures between 20 and 106 K have been recorded. There is no evidence for any solid-state phase transitions, nor for hydrogen bondin&. The rich larice spccrm and crysral field splittings suggest that the unit cell is rather large, and p
