The renewable industry in the UK is still in its infancy in terms of information sharing and collaboration. Duplication of effort and repetition of mistakes will inevitably occur as each new renewable project is initiated. However the traditional learning curve that is associated with 'new industry start-ups' could be significantly reduced in terms of time and money through the adoption and integration of collaborative information management processes.
