โฆ Synopsis
Isotactic, atactic, and syndiotactic poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) were mixed with poly(vinyl phenol) (PVPh) separately in tetrahydrofuran to make three polymer blend systems. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used to study the miscibility of these blends. Isotactic PMMA was found to be more miscible with PVPh than atactic or syndiotactic PMMA.
