In this paper, we discuss the complimentary split-ring resonator (CSRR) structure, an alternative way to achieve band-stop characteristics in electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures. The microstrip line with square-shaped CSRRs etched in the ground plane is designed and fabricated. The S-parameters
