✦ Synopsis
The best results for the preparation of the oxide 8il.~2PbtSrl.8Ca2.2Cu2.85010.v were obtained using Bi6Pb2Oll and very short sintering periods. Other precursor, Sr2_zNazCaCu205. x, led to good-quality single-crystals of Bi2_yTeySr2_zNazCaCu208.q (O < y < 0.3; O < z < 0.5). X-ray diffraction studies on these superconductors reveal small structural changes for different preparative conditions•
