The behavior of a CoCrMo alloy and its components was studied in simulated physiological solution (Hank's solution) using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The passivation of all samples occurred spontaneously at the open circuit potential. The composition of
