β¦ Synopsis
In this paper, the influence of flexible polyether chain in the network of the adhesive and synergetic effect of mixed resins with different functionality on the adhesion properties of epoxy adhesives at Γ196 1C, room temperature(RT) and 140 1C were studied. The results indicated that the lap shear strength increases at RT and Γ196 1C and decreases at 140 1C with increasing polyether chain in the network of the epoxy resin with unique functionality. If the adhesive is a mixture of epoxy resins with different functionality, a maximum or minimun lap shear strength at Γ196 1C will appear at certain resin ratio depending on that whether the polyether chain was introduced into the network.
